The Digital Media Edge Server™ acts as your dedicated portal to the advanced media file and stream IP distribution services offered by Generation Technologies. It is designed to allow the exchange of media in the most efficient, flexible, cost effective, and highest quality manner possible. This offering includes bundled hardware, software, 24x7 support, and IP connectivity in an affordable flat rate monthly lease package. This technological leap forward is achieved by leveraging the latest advances in uncompressed video hardware, software CODEC technology, and by partnering with world class hardware vendors.
Digital Media Network
Each server (node) on the network acts as a fully meshed extension of the MAG.net™ media network. From each node, users are able to import and export file media, encode from SDI and composite, send files and stream media to other nodes, playback files and streams to SDI and composite, search local and remote media stores, and preview media on their Desktop PC. The flexible design allows numerous structured and user defined workflows. It is ideal for the exchange of media within networks with up to 1000 nodes, including national broadcast networks, station groups, production and content delivery channels.
