MAG Theory: Affiliate Management

The primary function of the Generation Technologies Affiliate Management system is to facilitate sharing of media within a network of media organizations in the quickest, most efficient, highest quality, and cost effective manner possible. This is achieved by maintaining an all digital workflow, leveraging the latest in Advanced CODECs, and partnering with world class generic hardware vendors. In doing so, we can offer a highly affordable Media Agnostic™ solution with industry leading functionally that has been proven in the broadcast network news environment for over five years. In the following pages, you will find several graphic depictions of common workflows. These are basic scenarios and do not encompass the breadth of functionality of this system.  Once media is digitized onto the network, user access and control is practically unlimited (including regional carousel “feeds”, affiliate to affiliate sharing, centralized digital archiving, proxy editing, etc).
